Eligibility, enrolment and registration

Who is the Academy for?

The nature of Academy content is dental professional, clinical and technical. It is not suited for the lay person.

How do I enrol?

You must sign up with your email address. While the first two chapters are free, you will need to pay to access the other chapters and obtain CPD credit and the course certificate.

Is the content relevant to me?

We provide dental sleep medicine training courses that are in line with international standards.

We also provide a specifically tailored course for the United Kingdom (because UK dentists are permitted to screen and recognise sleep apnoea and make anti-snoring devices for snorers without a prior medical diagnosis).

Technical requirements

What are the technical requirements for an online Academy?

You need to be online.... 😉 we suggest you use Google Chrome specifically for the webinars - other than that, choose whatever you like: phone, iPad, PC etc.

Tuition and payment

How much does the Academy course cost?

The first two chapters are entirely free.

The KnowSleep Academy™ as a whole, is currently £999 GBP.

We consider this compares favourably with other courses, especially when you factor in our whole of market perspective, relevance and convenience.

When do I have to pay?

You can pay for the complete Academy today, or do the first two chapters for free and work out if online learning suits you. To access the complete Academy, you pay when you decide.

What are acceptable payment methods?

Most credit and debit payment cards are accepted. We use STRIPE and restrict payment to British pounds. We do NOT store card details. See our Terms & Conditions.

Will I get my money back if I drop out?

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. We believe in our Academy quality.

You can do the first two chapters for free to establish if the Academy is for you. Try it out.

When you do, you will see how much effort has been made and you will see how much work you will need to make. We're confident that our Academy will train you how and when to provide anti-snoring devices.

Should you find it difficult to find the time to complete the Academy, then please remember you can study at your own rate, when suits you. See our Terms & Conditions.

Academic

How will I be graded?

Each Chapter of the Academy has an ungraded assessment or quiz. These are multi-choice questions and an explanation is provided if you don't get things right the first time. We want you to understand.

There is a final exam that requires an 80% pass mark. Please note that you will also be required to sign a statutory declaration of time spent on the Academy (7 hours for the UK and 6 hours for the International) and complete a feedback form to satisfy verifiable CPD requirements. A paper certificate will be issued upon satisfactory Academy course completion.

Is there a class outline?

The complete Academy course curriculum is available in the private FaceBook group.

How long will the Academy take to complete?

We estimate that you should set aside 7 hours [6 hours for the International course]. That's the amount of CPD credit we provide respectively.
Of course, one of the advantages of on-line learning is that you have the freedom to learn at your own rate.

Does the Academy provide verifiable CPD credit?

Yes. The Academy course qualifies for 7 hours [6 hours for the International course] of verifiable CPD. See our verifiable CPD quality control process and you will be required to sign a statutory declaration of time spent studying (and complete a feedback form) in order to satisfy CPD requirements. You will get a course certificate on satisfactory Academy completion.

Can I begin the Academy today?

Yes absolutely! One of the great things about taking an online course is that you can start at any time. We schedule webinars periodically to support your learning, but if you miss one, recordings are available for registrants.

Will the class meet at a set time?

For the webinars yes we 'meet' online. Otherwise we would urge you to use the private FaceBook group.

What if I have questions as I go along?

You can post a question in the private FaceBook group ↗ start a discussion here or drop your Instructor a direct email: hello [ at ] snorer.com
